My New Year’s goal was to prioritize my fitness, and my journey with Amanda started on January 15th, 2024. Since that day, I’ve felt like I’ve ‘died’ many times from the lat pull-downs, hack squats, and my least favorite, the T-bar. There were moments I almost cried because it took such a toll on me, but Amanda has always been there to support me. She warned me it wasn’t going to be easy, and she was right. I never liked looking at my body in the mirror and would always wear baggy clothes to hide my insecurities. I started at 136 lbs and 31.8% body fat, but now I’m at 115 lbs with approximately 15-16% body fat. I’m no longer insecure about my body—I love looking at myself naked because I worked my ass off for it. Amanda is both your cheerleader and your drill sergeant. Following her advice will get you to your goals, but if you’re looking to play games, don’t bother. Focused girlies only.

Vanessa Mihalis

Working with AC Training was the best decision I ever made!!! Back in October 2023 I was 180lbs, 33% body fat, and eating anything I felt like. Despite being relatively active in women's soccer, I had constant lower back pain and a minor left knee injury that prevented me from lifting heavy at the gym. I went to Amanda in November of 2023 and she taught me how to brace my core, which enabled me to lift safely and even reduce the back pain I was feeling. She introduced me to hip mobility exercises and knee rehab which led to the relief of my knee pain. Also, Amanda set me up with a meal plan and taught me about macros and caloric intake which resulted in me losing unwanted body fat so I'm more confident in my own skin. Now I'm loving what I eat and I know that I'm continuing to stay healthy and lean!! Amanda helped me slowly increase the weights I was using at the gym week-by-week with progressive overload, and by April 2024 I was feeling my strongest, leanest, and best self!! I am now 160lbs, 20% body fat, and in way better shape to reach all my fitness goals and become a Muscle Mommy thanks to AC Training!

Truly my physique has changed so much my own family didn’t recognize me at our last reunion. Only AC can make you excited to get to the gym for 10am on a Sunday (#iykyk). This may seem like an over exaggeration to some, but Amanda changed my life. Working with her has helped me understand how to best fuel and move my body for maximum results. Not only has my body transformed but the mindset shift that came as a result of her time and effort has been huge for me. AC training is no joke, she may be your friend outside of the gym but when she hits the gym she means business in the best way possible. Training with Amanda is the best mix between hard work and having fun, you won’t leave a class or session without feeling the burn. AC ensures that everyone knows what the correct positioning and correct way to lift and encourages you through your work out. She will get you to your fitness goals as she did so with me and many others. I commute to this gym because Amanda and Turf are that good.
